January Astrology 2021 — Aquarius Season Begins

We started 2021 with a shift in the atmosphere. Now that we can catch our breath, it’s only right that I recap what we’ve collectively experienced. Mars transitioned from Aries to Taurus on January 6. It was in Aries since the summer of 2020, retrograding all Fall 2020. Aries, being the home planet of Mars, brought pressure to our processes. This caused turbulence when it came to our drive, fighting the good fight, and our sex lives. Mars is the planet of creation, force, and aggression. When Mars was in Aries, you probably felt more bold, brave, impulsive and aggressive.
Mars has moved into Taurus, meaning instead of rushing things we’ll feel the need to take it slower. Slower starts to projects, more pumping of the breaks, and a need to keep an eye out on our aggression, as Refinery 29 puts it. This can be a very beneficial energy to begin incorporating and accepting what comes as it does. When it comes to your workweeks are you giving yourself enough breaks? Can you fully experience the idea of creation and living? Use this time to take things slower and to be more assertive about your personal values.
Mars Conjunct Uranus in Taurus
Earlier this week, January 20–21, there was a wild transit at 6° Taurus, Mars conjunct Uranus for the first time since 1936. Uranus is the planet of rebellion, innovation, and technology .This transit is said to bring sudden changes, disruptions, breakdowns, and breakthroughs.

This week we entered Aquarius season, zodiac of the visionary, progressive, and rebellious, also ruled by Uranus. It might be easier to think bigger and to help create the future of our livelihood.
Mercury In Aquarius
Aquarius season starts out strong with not only the Sun, Jupiter, and Saturn, in its aroma, but also Mercury for a bit. Mercury is the planet of communication, ruling our thoughts and perception. It is how we process life, check out your mercury sign. Keep in mind that Mercury will be going retrograde from January 30-February 20. (Which signs will be least affected according to Bustle).
The Aquarius effect on Mercury is the ability to look forward to our futures objectively. This gives us the opportunity to honestly let our old selves die and create what our most favorite future beholds. I encourage you all to look within and to face the truths that come forward. Try to do this with not only courage but also with love and optimism. The true change begins within.
